Powerblanket’s 15-gallon drum heaters offer a wide range of heating solutions for warming and storing temperature-sensitive materials. The patented design of our drum band heater eliminates hot and cold spots by applying uniform, full-coverage heat across the entire surface of the container. This allows users to maintain proper viscosity for materials such as grease, oil, or water, all while keeping temperatures within the desired thermal levels. Each heater for 15-gallon drums can be equipped with either an adjustable or a fixed thermostat tailored to your specific application needs.

• Pro model has three individual heat zones and automatically adjusts to varying fluid levels

Thermal Rating Class
15-gallon drum heaters come in two voltages: 120 volts and 240 volts. Choose between four different thermal rating classes:

• Powerblanket Lite - designed for light residential and industrial applications, low power density
• Powerblanket - designed for any definitive heating applications, surrounded by a rugged vinyl shell, safe to use in temperatures as low as -20 F
• Powerblanket Xtreme - designed for harsh climates, safe to use in temperatures as low as -40 F
• WarmGuard – designed to prevent freezing and maintain usable temperatures with a preset thermostat (approx. 145 °F ± 10 °F); available in band style for light-duty heating or full-coverage style for uniform, insulated warmth

​All 15-gallon drum heaters come with an insulated full-wrap design, secured by cinch straps for a tight fit, ensuring efficient heating without heat loss. Our water-resistant heaters are suitable for use with 15-gallon steel drums, 15-gallon metal barrels, plastic barrels, and more.
