The same industry leading airflow and durability, but designed for use in environments that contain flammable and potentially explosive gases, vapors or dusts. All major components are fabricated from materials that will not produce a spark when struck by a direct impact blow, including non-sparking aluminum blades and anti-static housings.
Schaefer Hazardous Location fans have larger motors and greater airflow than the competition and are suitable for a wide range of hazardous location applications.
Motors are UL Listed for Class I, Division I, Groups C & D, and Class 2, Division I, Groups E, F, & G for flammable vapors and combustible dust environments.
IMPORTANT! THE USE OF AN EXPLOSION PROOF MOTOR OR AN ALUMINUM BLADE DOES NOT QUALIFY THE FAN AS EXPLOSION PROOF. NO AIR EXHAUST/VENTILATION FAN IS TOTALLY EXPLOSION PROOF.
